Paycheck Calculator
Find your take-home pay after federal tax, Social Security, Medicare and state income tax. Choose your state, filing status and pay frequency.
How this paycheck calculator works
It takes your gross pay, removes any pre-tax retirement contribution, subtracts the 2026 federal standard deduction, applies the federal brackets, then adds Social Security (6.2% up to $184,500), Medicare (1.45%) and your state income tax. The result is shown per paycheck and per year.
What it does not include
Health insurance premiums, local city taxes, state disability or family leave contributions, wage garnishments and credits such as the Child Tax Credit are not included. Use the result as a planning estimate and check your pay stub for exact amounts.
