How to convert salary to hourly pay

Divide the yearly salary by the number of hours worked in a year. A full-time job of 40 hours a week for 52 weeks is 2,080 hours, so a $60,000 salary is $28.85 an hour. If you get two weeks of unpaid time off, use 50 weeks (2,000 hours) and the same salary becomes $30.00 an hour.

Use the hours and weeks boxes above to match your own schedule. Part-time workers and people with unpaid breaks should change the weekly hours first.
